Accessing Live and On-Demand Events

Live Webinars and Educational Calls

  1. Registration
    Click on the "register" button on the upper right side of the event description webpage and follow prompts.
    • IMPORTANT:
      • If you are registering yourself and are a current AHLA member or have a non-member AHLA account, please log in using your current login information before proceeding with registration. To obtain login information, please contact the Distance Learning staff.
      • If you are registering someone else, please obtain the following information before proceeding with registration:
      • Registrant's AHLA member or non-member user name.
      • Registrants' AHLA member or non-member password.
    • To obtain login information, please contact the Distance Learning staff.
  2. System Test
    First time viewers are encouraged to complete the system test prior to viewing any live or recorded content. To do so, direct your web browser to the following URL: www.ec.commpartners.com. Click on the "Browser Test." If you pass the test, you will see a "Congratulations" message. If you do not, you will be given instructions on where you can download the newest version of Flash. This is a free download.
  3. Accessing the Event
    To access the event from the purchase page select "View Product" or select "My Events" on the left side navigation menu.
  4. Accessing Materials
    The course materials will be available for download under the “Course Materials" tab as soon as they are provided. Materials are usually available two days prior to the event. However, in some cases the materials may become available the day of the event.
  5. Obtaining Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Certificate
    CLE certificate of completion will be available once the webinar evaluation and CLE Verification Code have been submitted on the right side navigation. To apply for credit and receive a printable certificate, select “CLE Certificate". You will be provided the option to select your state and enter your bar ID. Please note that Public Interest webinars and educational calls are ineligible for CLE credits.


On-Demand Recorded Events

  1. Registration
    • Webinar Recordings: To purchase a webinar recording, click on the "Register" button on the upper right side of the event description webpage and follow prompts.
    • Educational Call Recordings: To obtain access to an educational call recording, please navigate to the respective PG/AG/TF page where past recordings will be stored.

  2. System Test

  3. Accessing Materials
    If available, materials and website resources will be available under the “Course Materials" tab once you complete the registration.
  4. Viewing the Recording
    To access the event from the purchase page select "View Product" or select "My Events" on the left side navigation menu. Once on the product page, you'll be able to access the video and audio only recording on the right side of the page. To view the video, select "View Web Content On-Demand". For the audio only, click on play button under "MP3 Audio File." Please note that webinar (including Public Interest) recordings are not included in live webinar registration and have to purchased separately.
  5. CLE Credit
    Recordings of past webinars and educational calls are not eligible for CLE credit. CLE credit may be obtained by applying directly to the attorney's state accrediting body, but approval is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of said accrediting body and subject to its rules and regulations.
