Nearly a year ago, a new comprehensive data protection law called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) took effect in the European Union (EU).  The GDPR imposes a number of new rules on companies, government agencies, non-profits, and other organizations that offer goods or services to people located in the EU, or that collect and analyze data tied to people located in the EU. This webinar will provide you with an update on enforcement of GDPR and lessons learned from cases we have seen thus far.  Practitioners in this space will also share practical GDPR compliance tips for health care organizations that are struggling to keep up with GDPR’s rigorous documentation requirements, such as: data mapping and Article 30 Record of Processing; Privacy Notices, Consent/Legal Basis Determinations, etc.
